| What works: | Phone is running Android 2.3.
Plug in phone and select (on the phone) USB Storage On.
Linux mounts it fine and I can access its files.
gThumb autoruns and works to manipulate photos.
Banshee works to manage music and videos with minor problem.
USB Wireless Hotspot and USB Tethering work well.

| What doesn't work: | Banshee gets stuck syncing. It does actually do the syncing but does not realise when it has finished (presumably because some process is not exiting) and I have to force a quit.
If I've turned off the phone's data transmission, sometimes I have to reboot the phone to get data transmission to turn on again so I can use the Internet or do USB tethering. And sometimes not.

| What was done to make it work: | In Banshee under Edit -> Preferences -> Extensions, make sure Mass Storage Media Player Support is selected.
In System Settings -> Removable Devices make sure gThumb is selected for photos.
