| What was done to make it work: | Set up dual boot with Windows 7:
Comes with 3 primary partitions (factory default)
Recovery, C (Win 7), D (Data)
In Windows Disk Management, I resized C and deleted D partition.
Rebooted Windows 7.
Then booted with Linux Mint 13 Cinnamon live usb.
Used GParted to set up partitions as desired.
Opened Synaptic Package Manager and uninstalled
"ubiquity-slideshow-mint" before clicking install icon on desktop.
During install, chose "Something else" option to install
to partitions made with GParted.
Linux Mint 13 Cinnamon installed without a problem.
