  • We now have 10 statuses instead of 5
  • The review process now involves both moderators and developers
  • Moderators can now review form and content separately
  • Moderators can now delegate decisions to developers when they are unable to assess the pertinence or feasibility of an idea

What works:

Works with default drivers on Mint 9. Tested with Cheese.

What doesn't work:

Didn't work with Skype initially.

What was done to make it work:

To make webcam work with Skype I did the following.

Open Terminal and type

sudo gedit /usr/local/bin/skype

This will bring up (probably blank) gedit, then copy and paste the following lines below in to gedit.

#!/bin/bash
LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib/libv4l/v4l1compat.so /usr/bin/skype

Then save gedit file.

In Terminal

Make file executable by copying and pasting line below.

sudo chmod a+x /usr/local/bin/skype
