| What works: | Everything I've tried so far. Stock Ethernet adapter, mouse, keyboard works. Installer worked wonderfully by 'helping me boot'. Dell and MS Vista don't like to let users actually USE their computer and have VERY crafty boot scripts to disable one's computer, and the supplied Dell 'recovery' disc that came with my computer is actually a death sentence, beware. Mint to the rescue, thankfully. All booting problems have magically disappeared.

| What doesn't work: | Login in screen goes white. Fine after login. Checking forum for fix.
|
| Additional notes: | Using ATi 4350 SFF B2 PCIe by VisionTec graphics card. Linux Mint supplied the driver and Catalyst Control Software(gui for ATi graphics cards), thanks! It's not for gaming, just general home/office use and light graphics/video editing. So far so well.
