Works right out of the box, Plays both CD and DVD, burns to both CD and DVD format. I have tried the LightScribe (Simple) version and it works great, burns with a Top/Bottom text and Border in about three minutes. I have not tried the Lacie 4L just yet.

To create an Icon in the Mint Menu for the both programs, right click on Menu > Edit, select either Accessories or Sound & Video.

Click on New Item.
