Idea:

Add new button to allow users to save an idea as a draft or work in progress. This could facilitate brain storming where ideas can be quickly noted in Title and saved to be expanded upon later.

4 days ago	Qruqs	You can just as easily type up your document and save it on your computer. Completely unnecessary to burden the site with it. Demoted.

1 year ago	Oisin	I think this is a good idea, like a ticket/task similar to some call centre/help/service desk software. Draft, work in progress, development, concept completed.

1 year ago	dagon	I originally demoted this idea but I don't know why. It makes perfect sense to have a new status called "draft". It could help and catch a lot of those posts that shouldn't have gone out among the ideas in the first place. It is also a kinder way to moderate an idea to mark it as "draft" than to mark it as "rejected". new -> considered
3 years ago	RayWoods	I quite often start rambling away in the input box then transfer over to Write, to fully develop the idea/comment. Once happy with it I copy it back to the input box. A Draft option would certainly make the whole thing a lot more simpler.
3 years ago	Rovanion	I personally think this is a good idea since it could reduce the amount of nonsense ideas on the site. The user should additionally have to read trough their ideas before they post them.
3 years ago	SeanBest	You can already post then edit ideas. If it's something that needs brainstorming, just type it up offline in a text file and copy and paste when your finished.
