Idea:

With the arrival of MATE and Cinnamon as stable environments suggest that Linux Mint logo to be more modern one.

4 months ago	fotonix	If you look at Distrowatch and a few other such sites, Linux Mint stands out with one of the nicest, modern, practical and recognisable logos. Compare the schitzoid logo changes of Pepsi every decade or so compared to essentially one Coca-Cola logo since the early 1900's. The logo is the brand and works. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

10 months ago	massexy	I don't see the connection between the desktop environment and the logo. KDE Mint has the same logo only in blue and with some of the sprocket as that is the KDE logo. It has taken a lot of time and hard work to make Mint the most popular distro and I don't think changing the logo should be taken so lightly.

1 year ago	raneern99	If you can find a good looking logo, then sure (as long as it isn't too far removed for the current one, kind of like joelz's avatar). However, at this point this idea really isn't that specific and more personal opinion.
