Idea:

the current scenario
********************
As per current mint software manager, if i need to install one application, i need to select the application and need to click INSTALL button. If i need to install another application, again i need to select and click INSTALL button and so on.. In other words, i need to click install button for each application. Also some times the mint software manager hangs for some time and then back to normal. This is

Improvement
***********
The idea what i am suggesting here is instead of clicking INSTALL button every time to install each application, user can have a option to select all applications he want to install (from different categories like system tools, games etc ) using some check box and once everything is selected, he can click INSTALL button single time and this should install all applications selected earlier. This will also avoid hanging issue and make mint software manager more user friendly.

Sorry for my poor English

This is similar to the following idea I suggested a while back:

I agree. It shouldn't be too hard seeing as Synaptic Package Manager has a similar feature.

Nice Idea.
Although joelz is also correct but if this could be possible in software manager, this will be very nice.

If you don't like this, I suggest Synaptic Package Manager. I have used this AND Software Manager and no problems at all, just are as good as each other. The advantage with Synaptic in this situation, is you can click a "check box" on all the things you want to install, then click "apply" and everything will install at once.

Hope this helps
