Idea:

There are today several tools to customize grub.
I am personnaly using a couple of them with my Lisa KDE edition.

It is easy to manage Grub with Grub Customizer

I would suggest Grub Customizer is automatically installed when LinuxMint is installed on a machine or at least in the mint repository

Here are the repos used :

Using deb :
deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/danielrichter2007/grub-customizer/ubuntu YOUR_UBUNTU_VERSION_HERE main

11 months ago	kazztan0325	I think it is not necessary Grub Customizer would be installed by default. However it would be nice if Grub Customizer would be included in Mint repo.
