OxygenOffice Professional (OOOP, O2OP) is an enhanced version of the free OpenOffice.org

OxygenOffice Professional contains more extras like templates, cliparts, samples, fonts and VBA support:
- Maintains high level of compatibility with Microsoft Office
- Contains exclusive clipart and template pack
- Available for all major languages
- Special options and enhancements
- Based on ooo-build system to deliver OpenOffice.org compatible solution
- Runs fine on Linux 32 bit and 64 bit versions

well... read on Go-oo.org: "Going forward, the Go-oo project will be discontinued in favor of LibreOffice."
--> i think LibreOffice.org will be the best choice for future!!!

by the way... i think Go-oo.org is the default office in Ubuntu and so in Mint!
it's easy to check because OpenOffice.org has no built-in OpenXML-filters (docx/xlsx/pptx)!

hold on with this idea!
i guess we will see LibreOffice.org from The Document Foundation in Mint 11 (like in Ubuntu 11.04)!
and then lets see how things will go on...

OxygenOffice sounds good, but all the extra content will mean that other packages might not get included because of available space.

Personaly I'd prefer slimming down on office aps, such as Abiword and Gnumeric.

Most of us don't require a whole office suite I wouldn't imagine.

It seems that OxygenOffice variant is built on top of Go-OO: http://sourceforge.net/apps/trac/ooop/wiki
