 expand choices for manuel monitor resolutions

Idea:

Would like to have the option of setting the wide screen resolution manually, when Mint Maya has failed to detect the correct screen size: for instance when using a KVM switch.

I would like to see sizes such as:1366x768, 1600x900, 1280x960, 1440x900, 1020x1080 included as choices, and not just the 640x480, 800x600 and 1024x768.

I think this is due to poor graphics drivers. I am Promoting this Idea.
As long as this problem is not fixed, you can add more/custom screen resolution by modifying xorg.conf file. http://community.linuxmint.com/tutorial/view/877
