Idea:

Having X-Tile included by default in the Linuxmint Mate startup applications list. X-Tile page: http://www.giuspen.com/x-tile/#downl

Reasoning:

Since tiling Windows is used heavily in most desk jobs, Linuxmint should have an official minimalistic windows titling program that works well with Mate.

Review and description of X-Tile:

It runs in the taskbar. When you right click on its icon, you get menu oft options for titling your Winodws. It gives a much better selection for titling than Windows XP did. Unlike compiz, this isn't a desktop effect that makes you overhaul your whole windows manager. I can't wait to use it at work tomorrow.

Just switched from Windows 7 to Linux Mint Mate and this is a feature I miss a lot. Hope it gets integrated!

looks interesting, though I use linux for light purpose at home. So I do not open too many windows.

Will stay neutral.

If it's like ion, I might really be interested in it for my low-end laptops.
