Idea:

Because I think that now the Linux Mint Team will be dedicated to issues based on Debian, of course. I propose that the new iso images for future editions of Linux Mint based on Debian:

1 - Linux Mint Debian Edition Mate/Cinnamon.-
2 - Linux Mint Debian Edition Xfce.-
3 - Linux Mint Debian Edition KDE.-

It would be Excellent to will be encouraged to take an official version of Linux Mint Debian Edition KDE (since there is already an unofficial version). Best regards.-

personally lmde is a good distro with some energy is could be bigger.., only the rolling spins must be better :) why not a real Testing repository? rolling spins in short time would be nice :)

Actually, I could not help, and download the unofficial version of Linux Mint Debian Edition KDE..... I was absolutely Shocked, has a high quality and very fast and works really well. Would have to adopt this as an official version because it works really great. I've been really surprised, the truth is that the future looks spectacular for Linux Mint Debian Edition !!!!!!!! Congratulations !!!!

With all due respect I say .... I think Cinnamon this a little green still to be taken as default desktop.-

I am pretty sure that MATE and Cinnamon will be seperated, and I agree with that decision. MATE and Cinnamon together creates a lot of overlap, and now that Cinnamon (with the next version, 1.5) will have a 2d version, there is no need for MATE as fallback. Cinnamon already has enough features to have its own ISO. Finally, I think it would be great to have the unofficial LMDE KDE made official, but I wouldn't want it to take too much away from other editions.

I agree with this 100% According to gnome 3 facts page, fall back mode(and with it classic mode ) will eventually be discontinued. Mate would make a perfect fall back mode. Some have argued that Cinnamon can now run with out a video card. That is true, but it does use a decent amount of of cpu when compared to mate.
