Idea:

It would be nice if there was a place where we could provide the boot and shutdown times (maybe within the hardware place), so that we can compare the behavior of LM on various hardwares.
Basically, one would provide:
- Computer
- CPU
- RAM amount
- Mint flavor
- Boot time
- Shutdown time

Ideally, multiple entries would be possible, for those who have several computers of tested several editions of Mint.
E.g. for me it would look like this:

Computer.........................CPU...........................RAM......Mint........Boot....Shutdown
Fujitsu Amilo L7310GW / Celeron M 1.5 GHz / 768 Mo / Debian / 90" / 12"
Fujitsu Amilo L7310GW / Celeron M 1.5 GHz / 768 Mo / 10 LXDE / 60" / 5"

Even on identical hardware, boot times could be considered subjective, and depend on a variety of factors, not least system load and measurement method. Even if anyone could be bothered to accurately supply such information, which I doubt, I personally can't see why anyone other than obsessives would want it.
