Recently from Jeff's Blog i came ot know that the most recent version of LXDM LXDE Login Manager has support for user lists an excerpt recent version of the LXDM display manager. This updated version compiled from LXDM's GIT sources fixes a long standing issue with passwords that contain spaces and also adds support for user lists at the login screen source: http://jeffhoogland.blogspot.in/2012/09/bodhi-linux-210-released.html If LXDM is supporting user lists, then I think MDM should support user lists along with other features and configuration option. LXDM now offers GUI configurations too. So now I think we are not getting greedy :D, but a feature that should be present in advanced Login screen / greeter :) |

Hi, This question has been and it looks like that Clem is aware of this issue from his comments on blog posts. Some of them have even installed lightdm. According to Clem, MDM login screen is very configurable through GUI. MDM - possible to log in without typing your username? MDM - Have User List Displayed Changeing the MDM login screen if you search forums, you will get more posts Promoting ... |
