@viking777 you forget that Clem would have to agrea before ANY thing could be done. So aprently Clem said NO or just did not get to it for some reason. You don't want Clem taking her to court do you? | |

mati75 has not created this distro in the last year (or I haven't heard about it) so I guess he/she is not going to do it. In any case, Enlightenment is just a desktop environment and can be added to any existing Mint version by any user. Idea marked as rejected. |

Ouch. Do you really thing it could become a mainline distro? Development would have to come from more than two contributors. What are the pluses that would make me want to change? What is your target group of users? Is it better than say....windows? I can go on with the questions but what why? I suppose you could find a niche somewhere cause we all like customising our systems. Good luck if you want to develop it. |

I would definitely support an E17 Linux Mint, and I believe there are many others that would. No one to this point has been willing to pick up the torch, but if you have the means and the willingness, I fully support it. I'll even contribute my greatest marketing term ever. A possible title: EnlightenMint Make it happen, and I will happily support you. |

By all means do it. That's what open source is all about. I personally probably won't use it, but there are lots of enlightenment fans out there. |
