Idea:

The tutorials section of community.linuxmint.com is invaluable, however I find that a lot of things are quite old and possibly outdated. I'd like to discuss the possibility of translating the better tutorials into an editable wiki similar to the Arch Wiki that users can contribute to and keep updated. Perhaps after certain tutorials get enough positive votes is when they can become 'canon' and migrate to the wiki.

I like the idea, though the 'old fashion' way of doing things are also invaluable for understanding some of the details behind today's solutions. This understanding is particularly good when you are in the command line.

as said by @remoulder, this has been discussed in forums and even community.

One user has even created unofficial mint wiki, but got no help from others.

There was a wiki, but due to lot of spam it was deleted as it could not be maintained.

Suggested before, there is a large thread about this subject on the forums, this is not the place to discuss.
