#042 Test Software Mananger It launches and works but not as I'd expect and will get its share of complaints. One I found is selecting a category -e.g. games, then a subcategory (boardgames) then select categories again and try a different category - e.g internet and software manager closes. And I just noticed it closes now right after just opening. I'm not to sure this is a pass, but I've seen this before on my test machine when everyone else had not problem. |

Yep, the installer still upgrades the kernel. I made sure it didn't upgrade other package too though. I think this is fine for RC. I'll have another look at this prior to the stable release. |

Sorry; testcase 1 and 5 shoud be removed as tested by me. I was away from the computer for a while and didn't notice you had added the 64-bit release when I was away.. |

For test #038: Insalled x64 again the partition it ws installed on before had been formated a different OS installed (LXDE 11), and then Mint 12 KDE installed agian on this same partition. Grub had been updated for these changes. That's the preface to after the install I ran # $ dpkg --get-selections | grep linux-image # and have the following images. linux-image-3.0.0-12-generic install
linux-image-3.0.0-14-generic install linux-image-generic install So even thought the install was longer that expected I didn't see any other output but a flash of a terminal with white background (with what looked like a welcome message).
