After a lot of patience I finally found a way to start from the USB thumb drive. On bios I needed to enable e legacy boot. The USB boots, it looks like it installs fine but after restart I go straight to windows 7. I have a GPT formated DISK, and I think the problem might be that. Too, the USB only starts if I leave it to automaticaly boot. If I press any key and get to the menu, than the live system does not start. So I'm again stuck with this, and I think it will be a show stopper for a lot of people out there with efi systems and GPT disks. |

Ok, I made a test with three other programs (one of them comercial) to burn the iso to USB stick, and none of them couldn't create a bootable media for my system. unebootin is useless... (I tried that also) |

Clem, on my EFI system burning the iso to USB stick with image writer does not work. The USB does not boot at all. I will try other methods to burn the iso to USB stick. |

It's alright, don't worry... The way it went with UP4, because of the release cycle and all, I tested these heavily on my local setup already. I'm pretty sure their quality is good for the RC, I'm just going through the tests to validate and follow the book :) |

Try again avasil, this server is a test server, it's not very fast but it should give you 500Kbps or so. It's located in the UK. |

Yes, they're all Hybrid ISO. I'll be ordering an EFI system in the next few days to be able to test this as well. |
