Thanks to everyone for the help testing these 4 ISOs. We're going for a stable release. We're missing md5 integration, mint4win only works in 64-bit ISOs, bluetooth is problematic and compiz doesn't work out of the box, but overall the quality is really good, I'm really happy with it. We'll be working on OEM ISOs separately, it looks like we need to add support for it in MDM. For now, let's enjoy this release. Thanks to everyone involved ;) |

All applications succeeded for me. There must be a special case, maybe with Compiz, where the MDM apps won't work? Or maybe you weren't running MDM at the time? It's been working fine consistently for me here. |

The thing I thougt was a twinkle is when I turn the cube and the window on the actual side get focus. It has to do with when the window changes from no focus to focus. Nothing to worry about. :) |

I've got bad news... OEM installations aren't functional. We'll need to postpone their avalability to either adapt MDM to oem-config or use a different DM on these particular ISOs. As for non-codecs ISO, they'll come as DVD for all 4 ISOs (MATE/Cinnamon, 32/64 bit) and won't require QA. I also wrote a tutorial for people on how to respin Mint, this will be useful to anyone trying to make a Mint ISO fit on a 700MB CD (though they'll have to remove quite a lot of apps to get this done). Looking at the remaining tests, I'm almost happy to approve the ISOs for the stable release. Mint4win worked in the RC and the --force-wubi flag was fixed and isn't needed anymore. Can someone confirm a working mint4win install? |

I'm not sure Sven, I had to leave compiz out of the scope if we wanted to properly integrate MATE and Cinnamon. I'm hoping the community will come up with tutorials and resources on how to integrate it well with MATE and we'll then be able to use that to give people a better out of the box MATE/Compiz experience in Mint 14. The MATE team also will take an interest in improving this. |

Compiz twinkle when turning desktops: In Mint 10 you must have 4 workspaces choosen in the Workspace-selector AND 4 virtual desktops in Compiz Common alternatives, Size to get it work. In LM 13 MATE you must only have ONE workspace choosen in the Workspace selector and the four desktops only comes from Compiz Common alternatives, Size. Could the "twinkle" be related to that difference in the mecanisms??? |

It's possible Compiz takes over the keyboard shortcuts. |

When I turn the Compiz Cube, the screen makes a "twinkle" or flash or what you might call it in English. I compare behaviour with LM 10 Main. which runs perfect, without any misbehaviours. |

I am sorry to say Alt+F2 don't work any longer. I don't know why it stopped. (I have been working a little about activating Compiz and Compiz settings) Even Compiz has changed it's behaviour for the latest sessions, it seems stiff and a bit lazy now compared to previous sessions.... CPU usage looks very low. (top gives about 97% idle) |

About Glipper. The glipper menu opends up when clicking on the icon - until I copy something, then the glipper menu is gone for the session. (when there is someting in the copy-buffer I should guess) |

Still I can not get any microphone sound in Skype. Skype tells that I have PulseAudio running and that I should use it for sound settings. I can not find any PulseAudio in the Menus. The only visible microphone level setting is in maximum pos. In LMDE and LM10 I can get the microphone working. |

I installed glipper. Activated it using Alt+F2 so it was put into the panel. It does however not work as i should. |
