Yea I tested it twice and both time mint4win installed. I also edited /.disk/cd_type to
dvd/single I really don't think it could do anything that would change mint4win on install. I changed the mint4win icon to the KDE icon so I tested it a second time to make sure it still worked. |

Are you sure this version of mint4win will work for DVDs Merlwiz? Raising the hardcoded limits to accomodate the size of the ISO leads to mint4win dying in the middle of it all... |

the LayoutList variable is missing and will be automatically defaulted to us causing problems for anyone who does not use a us keyboard layout. |

Here is how to enable Ctrl+Alt+Backspace by default. Create a filed called kxkbrc in /etc/skel/.kde/share/config/
[Layout] Haven't tested with other layouts but should work since it's not set. |

Also I you can manually enable Ctrl+Alt+Backspace. * Click on the Application launcher and select “System Settings” * Click on “Regional & Language”. * Select “Keyboard Layout”. * Click on “Enable keyboard layouts” (in the Layout tab). * Select the “Advanced” tab. Then select “Key sequence to kill the X server” and enable “Control + Alt + Backspace”. |

I have mint4win working on a custom iso build. I'll post the files that you need to make it work. |

@jamie_boo: How far are you from uploading the 64-bit ISO? Both archs will be released together, could you upload a new i386 ISO where you simply perform the following:

The problem with getdeb has to do with the downtime of their server... it's often down, more so than Ubuntu or Mint, and when that happens, users experience errors with mintupdate, mintinstall, synaptic and many other apps that some of them do not understand. |

That's ok, I'll add this to the release notes. |

The ctrl-alt-backspace to restart X does not work but this is so installing in another language gets the correct keyboard layout ie not US. |
