Case #043: opened with no issues, however, when I tried to install picasa, it just hung and did nothing but grey out.

Ok, I have found an issue when running from a live-usb, when you run G-Parted in the live environment, it gives an error about the live-usb itself, error is

"Invalid partition table - recursive partition on /dev/sdd."

on my system /dev/sdd is the usb I am running the iso from. Not too big, but can confuse a new user. Once you click "ignore" all works as expected and normal.

Summary of issues:

• German l10n not installed (upstream, need to find cause)
• XDG dirs aren't bookmarked by default
• Could use a nicer MATE notification style by default
• Outdated bookmarks in Firefox
• Gdebi file association missing in Firefox
• MintStick is branded
• Chrome default page points to lisa

Tested warning/failed test cases.

• Start page: that's normal, like the release notes, they'll be produced later on prior to RC.
• Language packs: looks upstream to me, we need to find the cause.

Summary until now:

• language-pack-german-de is missing
• bookmark home folders in caja
• MATE notifications theme (mate-notifications-properties) is not as nice :) there are some whose are much nicer.
• Outdated Chrome start page
• Outdated bookmarks in Firefox

firefox : Gdebi file association is not set

• MintStick needs to be debranded (i.e. given a generic name)

Downloading now, will get to testing tonight and into tomorrow see what I find
