Also in the partition department: I would recommend the usage of GB as default unit instead of MB since the extra precision is just confusing and harddrives are always measured in GB. |

I'm 3km from my test install right now so you will have to forgive me asking another thing that's so easily checked: Is Preload included in the default software selection? |

Yep... sorry dear testers, another ISO's coming. Count 12 hours.
It looks like this ISO would have been OK for a public release, but if we can prevent people from seeing these two little error messages, then all the better. |

It looks like this ISO could be released publicly, we're only facing minor annoyances here... ... I'm removing startupmanager and attempting to reconfigure dpkg in the installer automatically, so I send you a newer ISO. |

Startupmanager should be removed, it doesn't work very well (fails to detect the menuentry title) and it's only there because of plymouth, which isn't installed in LMDE... |

Trashcan works for me, both live and post-install. dpkg bug confirmed. |

Unable to remove a DVD using the physical button on the computer. One must first unmount the DVD in Nautilus or umount or some other tool before it's possible to remove the DVD. |

Another issue:
One very handy playlist is the YouTube playlist which allows you to search for movies on YouTube and play them directly in Totem instead of having to use the horrible flash player. |

There is no test case for this yet but there should be since it's a possibly reoccuring issue in all releases:
In it's current state Firefox is set to the default Linux behaviour which is to go to the page that is in the middleclick pastebin, cannot remember the exact term, instead of starting the scroll behaviour that is default on all other platforms. |

The second time launching mintUpdate there was no error.
On another note. When I launch Synaptic I see a fancy new dialoug, snooping around I found what caused it: su-to-root -X -c Now that may be interesting when launching mint-update. Being able to save the authentication in the keyring - well it may be handy. I don't know. |

I can ditto what Suhana said; Mintupdate fails with the fallowing error:
E: dpkg was interrupted, you must manually run 'dpkg --configure -a' to correct the problem. |

Since my system is still installing I haven't been able to confirm this on an installed version of LMDE, but the trashcan is not working. Everything is deleted permanently, and not moved to the trashcan as it should be. |

And the last page of the installer, the summary, should contain links to the earlier parts of the installer in the form of (edit)-links. So that if the user wants to change one part of her setup, she can press the edit-link, make her changes, and then when pressing forward return directly to the summary. This avoids the user having to back trough all the steps of the installation to find the page she wanted to change. |

I suggest that the lines in the partition-chooser would become interactive removing the need for additional dialougs. The user should be able to choose filesystem, wether or not the partition should be formatted, if it should be the boot drive and where it should be mounted in the file-system. It could look something like this: http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/mm167/Rovanion/Untitled.png
Tough I just spotted something much more important issue: Right now I can only install and set up my paths on one harddrive. Not only is it hard to get an overview of all my harddrives at the moment, the installer also forgets the paths I've set up between harddrives. Usecase; The user has two harddrives: One for her home and one for her root and swap. At the moment it is impossible for the user to make her setup correctly in the installer. The user would have to set up the specific /home after the installation. |

@Rovanion: We'll probably need to send that upstream. We'll need to form a strategy to collaborate on upstream bugs with Debian. Launchpad makes the link for us with Ubuntu.. I'll look into that. |

Low priority bug:
I propose that the print-screen-dialoug is not to be launched until key-release, and not on key-press. |
