@clem i dont know when i go to software properties and i add a ppa it come up as being katya not natty  here is a pic of me before i added a ppa http://tinypic.com/r/2b4ena/7 and here is the software list after i added the ppa http://tinypic.com/r/2yyqatc/7 i changed the others to natty after they ended up katya

@cpatrick: That should be the case already, we're pinning software-properties, if you add a PPA it should add it for "natty", not "katya". Why, is it adding "katya" when you do so?

i was wondering if you could make it so when you add ppas you dont have to go and change kayta to natty

@cpatrick: It looks like a Compiz crash, you can use fusion-icon in the menu to switch to Metacity, and/or reload Compiz.

For me the first boot was ok. No errors.

@avasili i have a intel 64bit chipset and 32bit works good you can use 32 bit on 64bit chipset

At the first step of the installation, (for best results, please ensure that this computer: is contected to internet) it shows me as disconected although I am connected and applyed the proxy settings system wide.

I work behind a proxy with authentication.

Is this normal?

@Clem. I have only intel 64bit chipset. Is it ok if I try to install this 32bit iso? will the test count?

My son stayed out of the computer room and watched cartoons, so I went ahead and kept working. I an not able to test the Intel chipset though. Looks like a release candidate in my opinion.

I passed all applications because we know that the about shprtcut just needs evolution-data-server and who uses it anyway. It's an easy fix if someone wants it.

I have to watch my 2 year old son, so I will try and give others a chance to do some testing. I will try and get some of the lengthy tests out of the way as long as I can keep my son away from the computer :-)
