Congrats to all the testers for the quick and efficient QA. We'll have an RC release early this week.

@clem: on the printed testpage it says "Product: GPL Ghostscript    Version: 3010    Revision: 901"

Hope that helps

Ajay: can you see anywhere if it says which file on the filesystem is the print test page? maybe on the printed page itself?

Printed test page and it has ubuntu up the top along with the logo. And used a canon ip4700 which had to use the 32bit drivers so just putting it as a warning for someone else to help verify with a printer that works in 64bit version.

@avasili: It looks like Ubuntu made the mount point field non-editable, you can mount your partition only in one of the predefined mount-points... such as /home. There's probably some rationale behind this, although it looks like another controversial move.

@cpatrick:

- /etc/issue.net reports Katya as expected.

- Java is ok as long as the plugin uses Sun Java 6

- apt is a shortcut in Linux Mint for apt-get, aptitude, apt-cache, and a few other commands. You can see what command apt launches by typing "apt help", for instance "apt help update" will show you the following: "apt update" is equivalent to "sudo apt-get update".

Mint4Win had no option to install only http://tinypic.com/r/wv4ih1/7 as seen there.

Just wanted to mention an issue I had during the installation of the system, with custom partitioning.

I have a separate ext4 partition for my data. I could'nt mount it as usual within the root partition.

With Julia it was easy mounting it as ext4 on /root/data without formating the partition. Now it wont let me write on the field "Mount as" :-)

In Linux Mint apt is a command you can use in place of aptitude and apt-get.
