The rest of the test cases I'm not quite sure about - or I don't have the actual chipset - or I don't have any media unit in my Acer Aspire One.  Somebody willing to continue?

I did re-test many of the cases after re-installation.  No output diffence.

But I wonder if there should be an auto reformatting for "/" partition in the installer?

I also noticed, according to #036: Localized installation,  that M-player/Gnome-player are not in Swedish.

#034: IRC auto-connect:  Connects atomatic to "linuxmint debian". Not quite correct to expected answer but seems OK to me.  Testcase decided as Passed.

#040: Ubuntu in low graphic mode:

The path "/etc/gdm/failsafeXinit" does not exist.  I even checked "/etc/gdm3/"  but there was nothing like failsafe there either.  Then I restarted the computer in failsafe mode, looking for anything about Ubuntu but I didn't find anything. Testcase decided as passed.

#042: apt sources:   The answer for the test-case is inrelevant.

This is the actual result, and that is what should be:

deb http://packages.linuxmint.com/ debian main upstream import
deb http://debian.linuxmint.com/latest testing main contrib non-free
deb http://security.debian.org/ testing/updates main contrib non-free
deb http://www.debian-multimedia.org testing main non-free

It's something strange. I wonder if the new  installation really reformatted the root-partition.  I didn't  do it manually before the installation, as I assumed it was made automatic as usual.

I will now re-install before I continue.

#043: mintInstall:  I installed "Frozen Bubble". It installed OK. But after installation has finished it still was showing "Not installed" until I went back one level and back to Frozen Bubble again. Some kind of "update" should be nice perhaps?

#050: Printer Test Page:  No PS-files at all found at the discribed place. Test printings was however made for A4 and Letter. Test-page was clean from Ubuntu, only CUPS was on the test-page.

#036: Localized installation:   I made an installation selecting Sweden/Swedish.  All seems to be in Swedish but some programs. Libre Office is plain English, Mint Updater is also in English. myspell-sv-se was not installed.

USB Creator isn't ported to Debian yet.

The user guide should point to http://www.linuxmint.com/documentation.php. This isn't stopper though, as there isn't any LMDE guide available yet anyway.

I updated the test case for LibreOffice.

Ctrl_Alt_Backspace works for me here.

For the updates, basically they're up to date at Update Pack 2... but, Update Pack 2 doesn't cover multimedia and security yet.. which means you're seeing updates at the moment which don't match exactly with Update Pack 2. This is fixed in Update Pack 3 and will be explained with the release.

Also, you should not update things prior to testing. You should test the ISO as it is.

#033: OpenOffice/Gimp splash and look and feel:   Test case bad. Open Office is replaced by Libre Office!

What do you mean Clem.  Should we  test the iso without updating, or at which status should we start the testing?  indecision

It would be most resonable to do all updates before starting the test process I think.

#017: system tools:  All but usb-creator is ok.

This features Update Pack 2.

Starting with Update Pack 3 the security and multimedia repositories are also part of stable/incoming, so it is recommended not to upgrade anything before Update Pack 3 goes stable. This will be explained during the release.
