2 Firefox comes with shockwave a10.1 and is fine. Why insta;; this? Adobe simpy has too many issues.

3 only nessecary if you use firefox or seamonkey (and they're both the biggest ram hogs linux has to offer) so unless you have ram to spare use chrome which has flash built in from flash version 10.1 and chrome version 5
