Amarok is a powerful music player with an intuitive interface. it makes playing the music you love and discovering new music easier than ever before and it looks good doing it! amarok is based on the powerful qt4 / kde4 platform and nicely integrates with kde desktop.

4 I like Amarok because it really shows how much work was put into it. That's also part of the issue with it lately, because it got increasingly complex and some people will consider that a draw-back. However, we must give credit to the developers and trust they will tweak this program until it will please more people. :).

2 Reviewing version 2.3 - Amarok is a very confusing software program for this ex-Winamp user who likes simplicity. The software seems to come pre-loaded with 'features' that have been merged together without considering the overall look and feel of the software. I am currently using Exaile and find it to have a much superior interface.

4 Version 1.4 was the best. There are many problems in 2.3.0 running on Linux Mint 9. Icons are not visible and many problems of amarok with Indicator applet.
