Description:

Chromium is a top down fast paced high action scrolling space shooter.

in this game you are the captain of the cargo ship chromium b.s.u. and are responsible for delivering supplies to the troops on the front line. your ship has a small fleet of robotic fighters which you control from the relative safety of the chromium vessel.

2 years ago	tpapastylianou	5	A classic! One of the oldest properly gfx accelerated games for linux, and still one of the best space shooters out there. Unique in its approach, in that the goal is to shoot down every single enemy spaceship; for every enemy that escapes your spaceship explodes. This creates a very different dynamic to other space shooters, as you often need to adopt a 'kamikaze' strategy and crash into enemy spaceships before they manage to escape. Good graphics, very challenging! Love it!

3 years ago	kneekoo	4	This is a very nice game. I remember I tried playing it about 8 years ago and my system was just not enough. It was actually needing a better video card but as was a casual gamer I suffered a bit. Anyway, very nice game. I like the graphics, the sounds and the fact that the ship and enemies are original. :)
