Laby is a small program to learn how to program with ants and spider webs. You have to move an ant out of a labyrinth, avoid spider webs, move rocks, etc.

Using Laby, you can learn OCaml, C, C++, Java, Prolog, Ruby, Pascal, JavaScript, Python, Lua, Vala, Scheme, Go and PHP. Other bindings can easily be added to support new programming languages.

Nice, but somehow I still prefer RUR-PLE.

As someone who has been dabbling in code for years, this was a fun excercise in algorithms! Be warned that it does NOT save your code when you close the game.

It gets done what it claims, teaches you how to program a little bit. The learning game itself feels like it could use much more polish, but nothing gets in the way of using it. Not spectacular, but it doesn't try to be fancy.
