The Perfect Desktop - Linux Mint 3.1 (Celena)
This tutorial is about an old version of Linux Mint, codename Celena, using Kernel 2.6.20-15, Gnome 2.18.
It is compatible with Ubuntu 7.04 (Feisty Fawn) and its repositories.

The 5 page tutorial with screenshots is available at

You may want to download and test this old version of Linux Mint in a virtual machine.
You should be aware that this old version is vulnerable to USN-612-1, a very serious flaw in the cryptographic library used to generate encryption keys. It is essential that you apply all security updates after installation before making any use of your system.

This release is obsolete so there's little point posting a tutorial for it. | |
