how to add a new brand to the hardware database
0 go to community.linuxmint.com
<meta content="text/html; charset=utf-8" http-equiv="content-type" />
1 mouseover "my places" in the upper left
2 click "my hardware" in the drop-down
3 click "add a new hardware device"
4 in the brand drop-down go to the bottom whare it says "Other, please specify:"
5 at the far left there is a input box write the name of the brand there
6 fill the rest of the forum in approprately
