us.zoom.Zoom
"I was having problem where whatever changes I made to the settings was lost when I restarted the app. They reverted back to the default. Virtual backgrounds I added was also lost. And my account did not remain signed in even though I ticked the box when I signed in. Anyway it turned out that to solve this problem you needed to just remove the old ~/.zoom directory (from previous .deb version I was using) and restart the app. It will recreate the directory. After that all was alright again."

"A wonderful WhatsApp client for Linux. Have been using it for the past week and found it to be a delight."

whatsapp-desktop
"Since this morning, this app can no longer connect to WhatsApp. Can still connect via WhatsApp web from browser. So the problem is with the app. And yes, I do find the doubling of the first character annoying. I do have to thank the developer because I have been using this app for several years. But now I think it is time to try another app."

ocrfeeder
"Can only save to ODT one page at a time. Cannot save a range of pages. Cannot import tiff files. Also does not remember last folder used. Always have to reselect the same folder each time import or export a file. Otherwise ok."

gnome-clocks
"Nice GUI. Does its function very well. One set back is that in the stopwatch, with milliseconds precision, is putting a heavy load on cpu. It would be great if there is an option to set off milliseconds. It would also be great if we can resize the window which is taking up too much space on the screen."

stopwatch
"Have to set off milliseconds, otherwise it puts heavy load on cpu. Also it does not remember your preference. Have to set off milliseconds each time you run it, which is troublesome. And finally the graphical interface can do with a lot of improvement. But all in all, it is functional and works well enough as a stopwatch."

docky
"Simple, beautiful, but unfortunately not so reliable as it keep crashing after suspend."

"Runs like a snail on my Dell XPS15. It's like playing slow motion space invaders. And I mean really slow motion space invaders."

hardinfo
"Although I like the information that it provides about my system, all conveniently in one place, but on my Dell XPS15 it cannot detect the battery, USB devices, and sensors. Also Network Updater failed to contact the Hardinfo Central Database. Trying to get help or go to the software website via help menu brings me to a invalid web page."

network-manager-openvpn-gnome
"Great. I used to have to run openvpn from CL. With this it is so much easier. It is helpful that it allows one to import configuration straight from a ovpn file. Thank you very much."
5
psensor
"Functional and useful for monitoring CPU/GPU temperature."
4
gthumb
"Would be great if there is an option to not record recently opened images. Also it should have the ability to resize windows to fit an image when moving from a smaller image to the next larger image rather than fitting the image into the smaller window."

guake
"This is more practical and neat than having several terminal windows lying around on the desktop. It would be nice, however, to be able to save and restore the terminals, or at least the name of the terminals. Why allow user to rename the terminals but not allow them the option to save it?"

"V 31: all password including master password disappeared. Also cannot create new account. How can this version be released into production?"

smplayer
"I installed this as a temporary solution because I was having problem with VLC. I was pleasantly surprise that this is such a good video player. I decided to stick with it and not go back to VLC player. A temporary solution ended up to be a permanent solution."
