Biography:

I work in higher education.  Linux is a hobby and it helps keep me enthusiastic about life.  It changes so rapidly and offers so many options.  I am amazed that everyone does not use such a wonderful, free resource.  The linux mint team has done an outstanding job of providing quality distributions that appeal to non-geeks and geeks alike.  I have tried many distributions but I have been with LMDE longer than any other. Now I always carry a live distribution on a thumb drive and I frequently amaze my friends by saving their files when they have a system crash.
