BEGINNING 

Born 1950 ..... bacis shool, left because of boredom 1967. Met the IT world first time in 1971 .... working as operator on IBM tapestations/ punchcards indata , employed in Copenhagen Telephone company inc.. Later working for Leo pharma for about a year.  Left buisness 1973, and have since mostly worked withinn the social area, where I also got an education.

LATER

Did'nt spend much time with IT stuff untill 1997, where I realised I had to jump on the train again .... developement in society would demand it. So, I bought a Mac, and began learning again. Later, I had to learn to do with Microsoft stuff because of my jobs. But in private , I still went on with Apple - doing a great deal of graphical and other work for pleasure - photo editing, vector drawing and also some journalistics, writing for a public web newsblog.

NOW 

Now, I'm retired - has got more time, and less money. Have been thinking of trying Linux for a couple of years - now I´ve installed a Linux Mint 9 fluxbox on an old compaq laptop, saving it from the dump , and I´m very satisfied. In my occupation as a volounteer worker in a secondhand shop, I´ve introduced Ubuntu to my colleages - and we are now about to try recycling old pc´s with Ubuntu - see if we can sell them. The choise of Ubuntu .... For the time, Ubuntu is the only really known Linux system in Denmark, and here´s a big danish community -
