I abandoned Windows my first time when Win98 was upgraded to XP,  Later I found XP to be stable (later versions) So I hoped back to the Windows Side of the house. (back then Ubuntu was pretty plain wrapper) I used XP and when Vista came out abandoned shit again cause I thought Vista just plain Sucked (still do today). Along came Win7 and it wasn't half bad. Well I ran it for a few years and thought you know I haven't seen what is going on with Ubunutu in ages maybe I should see where they have gone. I had tried the Kunbuntu and thought it was pretty good years ago but it seemed like all the talk on the sites was about this Linux Mint version. I even stopped in and checked out Zorin for about 6 months before coming back to Linux Mint. This is where I am today to stay. It is rock solid stable. More stabile then any stinking version of Windows. It does it all and with VMware running I have the best of both worlds why go back to Windows when you can run Mint and let Windows come to you. Two things to all you users out there....AMD FX8350 damn good processor, Next best investment was the SSD Drives and I can see I will be purchasing more real soon.
