Aspire One AOA 150 (ZG5)

  Acer (Laptop or Netbook)
  Mint (older version)
Works fine with some minor problems
What works:

So far wireless works, webcam, sound, microphone.... Almost everything.
The Software is working pretty fine, except for some minor problems.

What doesn't work:

The SDcard slots are not recognized, then again if one adds on a sdcard reader via usb port it is recognized.
Installing science software is working mainly well, but for some tools one has to compile the src from scratch, e.g. gpredict.
The Atom CPU is seen by the system as a duo core architecture, even though that there is only one core available. I guess this is due to the quasi vectorized operation structure of the Intel Atom cpu.
I experienced trouble by using Skype on the netbook. Somehow the microphone is not working well and one can not use the build in MIC but has to connect a headset.

Additional notes:

I can recomment to use LinuxMint on a ACER ASPIRE ONE Netbook!
