  HP (Intel core i5-4200H 2.8 GHz Processer)
  Mint 19.x
  Works partially
What works:

- Processor: Intel© Core™ i5-4590 CPU @ 3.30GHz × 4
- Memory: 3.7 GiB
- HD (partition): 86.9 GB
- Video card: Intel Corporation Xeon E3-1200 v3/4th Gen Core Processor Integrated Graphics Controller

- OS: Linux Mint 19.1 Cinnamon
- Cinnamon version: 4.0.8
- Linux Kernel: 4.15.0-43-generic

The operating system is excellent to use.

What doesn't work:

- Some applications that use Java make the system more slow;
- Mozilla Firefox when using a lot of tabs or enter certain sites make the system more slow or freezes it.

What was done to make it work:

- I reduce priority of heavy applications;
- I try to browse in less tabs and avoid certain sites;
- I try to avoid Java apps.

Additional notes:

Why the operating system gives such power to applications to freeze it? It would limit the heavy ones to continue working in background or pause or kill heavy processes (with or without user intervention).

Windows and Android use something like that when user try to open a freeze application, showing that it stopped responding - user can choose to close or to wait.

Linux Mint does not have such behavior, or if it has, it does not function when the system freeze for me.
