  Fujitsu-Siemens (Laptop or Netbook)
  Mint (older version)
Works fine with some minor problems
What doesn't work:

Speakers exclusion when plugging in headphones -- a common issue among Ubuntu users apparently, which has to be solved manually depending on the device. Not specifically Mint-related, so.

What was done to make it work:

I couldn't solve the speakers exclusion issue the clean way beacause I didn't manage to find out by which (code)name my audio device wanted to be called in the appropriate configuration file, but I used another instead which disrupts the speakers altogether.
Some side-effects appeared: some audio players realize something's wrong after a few second of playing and just stop, and the Fn + F-number shortcuts for volume control are malfunctioning.
