Printing is superb and no hassle. Mint automatically detects this printer and configures hplip package for ready printer,Viz a viz windows needs a driver and manual installation to do the same work.

Scanner somehow does not work.

Tried installing xsane, does not detect the scanner.
Tried recompiling hplip package, does not recompile on mint
Tried Hplip GUI no help
Error cannot find Gnu c++ compiler, Python-devel.

Installed c++ from Software manager.
I am not able to find any package of name python-devel.
