  Toshiba (Laptop or Netbook)
  Mint (older version)
Works fine with some minor problems
What works:

I'm a super-duper Linux newbie. So far, I'm liking it.

The novelty's wearing off. I'm noticing what it doesn't do in Linux that it is supposed to do in Windows. I'm sure it's more my fault than the machine's- I purchased this as a toy to learn Linux on.

What doesn't work:

The battery indicator seems primitive. Also, I don't know how to activate the Hard Drive Impact Sensor. The battery lasts >5 hours; the machine is advertised for ~40% more than that. I don't know how to activate the sleep to charge USB port either. I also had a hibernation issue; it froze during rebooting. I had to force-power down and re-start it. Most of the fn keys also are inactive in Linux Mint. Cannot (that I know of) change the brightness of the screen.

Additional notes:

If there's ANYONE here with the same netbook, we should become linuxmint.com friends!
