  V7 (Monitor)
  Mint (older version)
  Works perfectly
What works:

1440x900 if your graphics card supports it. When using a sound card supported by Linux, the sound from the built-in speakers is fine. The speakers aren't perfect, but for many users they are good enough.

Additional notes:

Fedora couldn't display widescreen with an ATI graphics card.
Mint and Debian can use the monitor fine, at 1440x900.
Graphics cards with bad Linux support (including the Vesa driver) may try to set 1440x1024 - the left or right edge gets cut off. But for most users it works fine.
