Pavilion dv5

  HP (Hewlett-Packard) (Laptop or Netbook)
  Mint (older version)
  Works perfectly
What works:

Sensor panel with multimedia controls and wi-fi on/off button.
The whole keyboard with all Fn keys.
Touchpad works very accurate, very pleasant. Also works enable-disable touchpad button.
All indicators including sensor panel's have their own color light.

Wi-fi Atheros adapter and Ethernet.

Speakers, webcam, embedded microphone.

Even remote control that is placed inside the laptop and can be pulled out works perfectly!

What doesn't work:

When the touchpad is switched off with the special button, keyboard is no longer usable. You can type whatever you want, but not a key response to you actions.

It can be fixed with a restart of the laptop. However, this is very inconvenient if you want to use the mouse and switch off your touchpad.

As I remember, there's no such problem in Helena edition.

Remote control works with not all applications. It's supposed to work with video and audio players and such, however it doesn't work with VLC and works with simple Movie Player. Volume controls affect the system volume, not of applications (that's good).

Additional notes:

Pretty good hardware support, almost perfect. However, there are some issues (with the touchpad button and the remote control when using specific applications).
