Thank you @viking777 for putting this forward!
I think this idea could be quite easily implemented and possibly useful as well. If you search 'users' for a user name it already has 'friends, ideas,tutorials hardware and software' links. To my mind all that needs to be done is to add a 'comments' link as well.
Although the list could get a bit long with the more prolific commenters!
@Tonya:
Thank you for your support.
By the way, "When could Mint Team discuss these many many ideas, when could this idea be regarded as what is worthy of consideration, that is a problem", though this is what I wrote here and there.
I'm supporting this idea.
Especially whereas it will contribute to ease search for same (or similar) ideas as our own ideas.
@compuman2004:
Yes, Search function need to be improved more useful.
It would be good for everyone.
In the present, it is also difficult for us to find the same (or similar) idea as our own idea.
@blueXrider:
For example,
I have some remarkable members (without regard to they are my Mutual friends or not).
I want to read not only their Ideas or Tutorials but also their comments which they commented on someone's Ideas or Tutorials.
But for the present, there is no way to search them, though I have only to open their profile page to find their Ideas or Tutorials.
So I think, if there was a Textbox for inputting username as keyword on Ideas (or Tutorials) top page, I could easily find articles which my remarkable members commented on.
And as its side effect, if I search by my username, I will find articles which I commented before, even if I have forgotten to click their [subscribe] Button.
When your looking for an Idea of tutorial does it matter who contributed. The content is the essences of what your inquiring about.
