We find some of the software does not come with any minimum hardware requirements.
Is there some way a user can upload his hardware specs when a software works fine (if he chooses to) and the minimum tested ok hardware for that software be displayed?

I think most of the software doesn't have a minimum hardware requirement.
To me this sound like a rather difficult thing to implement. There has been ideas about gathering hardware and install info to aid in support over the net, either uploaded to a database or as an attachment. There are quite a few scripts to do the data gathering involved already (inxi etc.)
