Satisfaction Survey

I've been thinking that maybe a couple weeks after a new install a survey could be sent back in by users. We all have programs we prefer and this would give the development teams a working knowlege of what the majority of users prefer and why or whether it is something that just doesnt work well with the system. This would be of great assistance to users and developers alike. With just a few questions on each program installed by default together we could all contribute to a better and more reliable system showing that Mint is top dog for a reason.

@vincentv:
The idea "SurveyMonkey" does not exist.

This could be used as Ubuntu does with software-sources and the statistics tab. It automatically sends information to Ubuntu once a week.

Not a bad idea, though for people who do frequent installs it might get annoying.

Good idea they would be able to get an average of what most users have.

Perhaps this should be joined to the Hardware used by Mint Users to give the developers the full picture.
