At last. After a lot of searching for a good graphic equalizer I found one. Download the PulseAudio Equalizer from:

http://ppa.launchpad.net/nilarimogard/webupd8/ubuntu/pool/main/p/pulseaudio-equalizer/pulseaudio-equalizer_2.7.0.2-2~webupd8~oneiric3_all.deb

Install:

sudo dpkg -i pulseaudio-equalizer_2.7.0.2-2~webupd8~oneiric3_all.deb

I needed to install the pre-reqs swh-plugins ladspa-sdk

sudo apt-get install swh-plugins ladspa-sdk

It's a 15 band equalizer and comes with many presets or you can save your own settings.

Awesome!

There are many requests for additions to the repos, but I think this is an exceptionally good one :)

Seems really good, one of the reasons i had windows installed side by side with LM was that the audio was horrible without this magic!
Thank you for this!

I posted it as a tutorial also.

The way it is presented, it looks more like a tutorial. Not a bad Idea

I Promote this Idea.

Looks like an "Include Software" in the Linux Mint Repository to me. @carlp101 just goes on to say how, those of us who can't wait can install it.

This should be moved to tutorial section

This seems to be more of a tutorial.
