Sublime Text is a sophisticated text editor for code, markup and prose.
It has slick user interface, extraordinary features and amazing performance. The program was originally desighned as a feature-rich extension of Vim. It's the best editor for Python, Javascript, HTML5, CSS3.... development.

This editor seems very nice but it's a "free but commercial" software.
You can download and try it, but you have to pay a license to use it, although there is no time limit for the trial... quite strange. I don't know why they do not provide it with a gpl-like license and a donation page... (59$ is somewhat expensive, not sure if many people will be willing to pay).
