As I marked it as implemented I set this one to be Implemented as well.
It isn't installed by default in Mint and maybe the packages needs to be look over and tutorials provided, but it's what's offered today! ;)

The software is more or less available in repositories, but I don't see a need for this installed by Default for Mint.

You should try the demo of the VeriLook commercial software and check out some free, open-source software: Biometric Authentication APIs, Face Recognition, Finger Print, Iris recognition, Voice Recognition.
