i like the current green thin dotted line, and it suits better with this green website than a black line which is also suggested to be thick!
whenever i think about a black thick line among greens, it reminds me some of the old version gui softwares which doesn't had any decent looking.
@DestinTheGreat
it's just my own opinion/prefernece and it's only one vote. if you get promoted by many others and get your idea implemented then i have nothing to object. opinion of vast majority should be considered..
@jahid_0903014 why not?
i don't think black thick line is a good idea
Also if you voted this down plz share a con of this I just want to hear your opinion.
@dogsolitude_uk That is perfect! Now we can at least show them what we meant. Thanx! :)
Fiddling with the style.css stylesheet using Firebug I amended the following CSS, making the dots 2px and increasing the padding:
table.commentsTable td
{
border-bottom: 2px dotted #BBE693;
font-family: Verdana, sans-serif, Arial;
font-weight: normal;
font-size: 11px;
color: #404040;
background-color: white;
text-align: left;
padding-left: 7px;
padding-right: 5px;
padding-bottom: 5px;
padding-top: 7px;
}
And got this (Link to .png image on Ubuntu One):

Is that any help?
A couple of years back I suggested something along these lines too, along with the bit about the line and background by @mikefreeman. (See http://community.linuxmint.com/idea/view/1667).
After two years it is showing as "Under dev. review". Fingers crossed, something may even happen here.
Supporting!
I support this. I suggested a related idea a year ago http://community.linuxmint.com/idea/view/3506
Tell me what you guys think :)
